How much does a commissioned watch cost?
One-of-one Subrosa commissions begin at $2,200. The final investment depends on the movement, components and degree of personalization involved. You will receive a clear proposal before deciding whether to proceed.
How long does a commission take?
Most commissions are completed within 4 weeks following design approval. If the watch is intended for a particular presentation or occasion, please include that date in your inquiry.
Can I commission a single watch?
Yes. Most Subrosa projects are created as individual, one-of-one timepieces. We also accommodate team and organizational commissions through a separate process.
Do I need to know what the watch will look like?
Not at all. Many clients begin only with the person or story they want to celebrate. We guide you through the aesthetic and technical decisions.
Can you incorporate a logo, image or personal symbol?
Yes. Depending on the project, personalization can include dial artwork, colours, insignia, dates, caseback engraving, movement details and presentation materials. We will help determine which elements can be incorporated tastefully into the design.
